Arrival in Hochfügen
Fügen is located at the entrance of the Zillertal and can be reached in an 8 minute drive after exiting the autobahn. Then, you head up the mountain: it is another 20 minute drive to the Montana in Hochfügen. For your trip to Fügen, there is a train and bus connection but only bus connections to Hochfügen. We thus recommend that you travel by car! Free parking for cars is available at the house. An underground garage is also available upon request.
By car
Take the Inntal autobahn A12 to the Zillertal exit then head towards the Zillertal until you come to Fügen. From Fügen, a 12 km long, well signposted panoramic road leads to Hochfügen. The panoramic road ends at the parking lot right by the lift station. Then, turn left up the mountain road, and after a few meters, you will have reached the Montana! Distance from the Inntal autobahn A12 (Wiesing/Zillertal exit) to the Montana: ca. 22 km (ca. 35 min. by car)
By plane
The Innsbruck airport is 50 km away, and the Franz-Josef-Strauß airport in Munich is 170 km away. If you are arriving by plane in Munich, we recommend Parken und Fliege. With affordable prices, you can park your car at the airport and take the shuttle directly to the terminal. Thus, you can easily bring along equipment for your winter vacation!

Hochfügen is a small, idyllic district in the community of Fügenberg. It consists of only a few hotels and huts that serve as a getaway for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation away from bustle of the rest of the Zillertal. If you are looking for shops and crowds of people, you won't find it here. If you would simply like to arrive, let go, spend time with family, and enjoy beautiful experiences on the ski slopes or hiking paths, then an absolute paradise is awaiting you!
