During Winter season we are glad to offer you also a culinaric experience in our traditional restaurant with terrace Montana Alm.
Wafting through the air is the aroma of cake, on the table is a hearty snack of bacon, cheese, and freshly baked bread, and the host personally welcomes you on a first name basis: welcome to a culinary paradise in the Zillertal!
Zillertal cuisine is known far beyond the borders of Tyrol - and for good reason! Traditions are upheld here, and the most important criterion is always the quality of the ingredients. Many different kinds of specialties have been preserved over the centuries and are still just as popular today. The freshness and origin of the products are especially important, and we use mostly regional, seasonal, and natural products of top quality! Whether hay milk cheese, smoked bacon, a fine brandy, or the original "Zillertal Bier": these are only a few examples of Zillertal cuisine at its best

At the Montana, we have made the enjoyment of our guests our ultimate goal, and we thus offer all possibilities: whether you stay in one of our chalets or in a vacation apartment, you can choose accommodations with breakfast, or self-catering.
You can decide if you would like to cook for yourself or enjoy a regional breakfast in our rustic pine lounge.
Our credo is: taste is king! Our Montana Alm offers regional and international specialties of the highest quality. We serve these treats in a rustic, pleasant atmosphere - for magnificent enjoyment after an eventful day in the fresh air!
If you choose accommodations on a self-catering basis, then we gladly offer breakfast roll delivery service upon request and will provide you with daily fresh rolls, croissants, and more for your breakfast.

There are many possibilities if you would like to dine outside of the Montana. Either you can let yourself be pampered here in the Montana Alm with delicacies from Tyrol and around the world, or you can make a trip to one of the other restaurants in Hochfügen.
Would you like to experience a special gourmet evening? Then we are happy to tell you that our neighbor at Hotel Lamark is no other than toque-awarded chef Alexander Fankhauser, known from the ORF series "Frisch gekocht". Currently, Alexander has been awarded with 3 toques and 18 points in Gault Millau 2017, 5 stars and 96 points in the gourmet guide "Guide A la Carte 2017", and 49 out of 50 points in the "Falstaff-Guide" 2015.
