Hochfügen
Fügen is located at the entrance to the Zillertal and can be reached after a drive of just under 8 minutes after you exit the motorway. Then it's up the mountain: it takes another 20 minutes to get to Montana in Hochfügen. There are train and bus connections to Fügen but only bus connections to Hochfügen. We therefore recommend that you arrive by car! Free parking spaces for cars are available directly in front of the house. An underground garage is also available upon request.

Drive on the Inntal autobahn A12 to the Zillertal exit, then towards Zillertal until you reach Fügen. From Fügen, a 12 km long, well-signposted panoramic road leads to Hochfügen. The panoramic road leads into parking area right next to the lift station. Then take the mountain road uphill on the left, and after a few meters you will arrive at the Montana! Distance from the Inntal autobahn A12 (Wiesing/Zillertal exit) to the Montana: approx. 22 km (approx. 35 minutes by car).

The Innsbruck airport is 50 km away, and the Munich Franz-Josef-Strauß airport is 170 km away. If you are traveling to Munich by plane, we recommend Park and fly. You can park your car inexpensively at the airport, and the shuttle will take you directly to the terminal. This means you can fly to your winter vacation with all your equipment in a relaxed manner!

Hochfügen is a small, idyllic district of the municipality of Fügenberg. It consists of just a few hotels and huts that serve as a haven of peace for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the Zillertal. If you are looking for shops and crowds, then you will not find them here. But if you just want to arrive, let go, spend time with your favorite people, and have wonderful experiences on the ski slopes or hiking trails, then an absolute paradise awaits you!
When you drive up the serpentines from Fügen to Hochfügen, it gets bigger and bigger: that pure vacation feeling! Curve after curve, everyday life stays a little farther back in the valley. And slowly the landscape changes: to the right and left, cows greet you instead of houses, the mountain peaks come ever closer... There is no noise to disturb you here, the view is clear with a beautiful mountain panorama, and you can rest and strengthen all your senses with a lasting effect.
And another advantage: the nights at the Montana are pleasantly cool in summer, and even allergy sufferers have no problems at this altitude. A pollen and mite-free zone - a real blessing! Add to that the wonderful view of the Zillertal mountains and the endless peace... You won't hear any cars during your entire vacation, and you can just leave your own vehicle behind and only get back in when you leave!
