In the Zillertal, a total of 1,400 kilometers of perfectly signposted hiking trails await sporty trail-seekers and leisurely walkers. Whether you just want to go for a walk, plan a pleasant circular tour with the family, or climb a real summit - there is something to suit every taste!
A special highlight is the Zillertal Alps High Mountain Nature Park. It stretches across all alpine altitudes from the mountaineering village of Ginzling up to the mighty Hochfeiler. The nature park is also famous for its exceptionally high diversity of animal and plant species. Together with other protected areas in North, South, and East Tyrol, the High Mountain Nature Park even forms the largest network of protected areas in the Alps.

You can go for a leisurely bike ride with the kids or enjoy a spectacular descent on the single and downhill trails in the region. Particularly popular: bike & hike. First, head up the mountain by bike, and then continue on foot to the next summit. This makes every summer vacation really fun!
